People stopping by can warm themselves by touching the ceramic elements and reconfigure them in a new form. The heat, which is created by electricity and a graphite coating that works as a resistance, stimulates a soft physical sensation. Through this act of interaction with the object, people are encouraged to move out of their head and brought back for an instance to the present moment and their body through touch. Cairns and the passages behind inspired this project (stone towers along paths).
